How to access your course and cases using the faculty-provided link

DDx includes an open case library consisting of 6 cases that anyone can browse, but your faculty-assigned course and graded cases are only accessible through a specific course link that your professor shares with you. When logging in for the first time, navigating directly to the DDx platform without this link will show you the general library, not your assignments.

Steps

1. Get the course link from your faculty. They'll typically post it in your LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace) or share it by email.

2. Click the link. It will open DDx and take you directly into your course view.

3. In your course view you'll see your assigned cases, deadlines (if set), and your progress.

4. Complete cases from this view..

Important: You only need to click on the course link once, initially to be ‘enrolled’ in the course. Subsequent logins to DDx, will show all courses you’ve enrolled in.

Finding your course on your DDx dashboard

•   After logging in, look for a 'My Courses' section on your dashboard

•   Click your course name to enter the course view

•   If you don't see your course, use the direct link from your faculty

I'm not seeing my assigned cases

•   Confirm you're in your course view, not the global case library

•   Make sure you used the faculty-provided link to access the course initially

•   Check with your faculty to confirm they have shared the correct link
